LES BJOLA: Chief Executive Officer
Les is an exemplary leader in real estate development with over 25 years of experience in the industry. As the sole owner and CEO of Turner Lane, he has successfully generated and conveyed multiple real property transactions. Les' career began with graduation from the highly respected British Columbia Institute of Technology in Land Survey and Business Administration (1979), and grew to include real estate and land development. Les has managed hundreds of projects and has directed such complex assignments as the Bear Mountain Golf and Country Club Resort and City Centre Colwood. His broad and deep knowledge of the development business, combined with his experience in property acquisition, has positioned TLD as one of the leading developers in the region. Les' extensive experience in project management includes acting as a liaison between property owners and all stakeholders, managing multifaceted government relations and developing sound management procedures. Les is a tireless community supporter and a benefactor to countless organizations. He is a Past President of the Victoria Real Estate Board and of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, and is the current Chair of the West Shore Parks and Recreation Commission.
RACHAEL SANSOM, AScT - Senior Project Manager
Rachael's primary responsibility as the Project Manager for Turner Lane is to ensure that the client, consultant, contractor and local authority work in unison to deliver the best product possible for our clients. Rachael oversees all projects from start to finish, including performing initial property analysis, business plans, budgets and cash flow, interfacing with local governments, consultant coordination, and communicating to the sales and marketing staff. With a background in consulting engineering and municipal government, Rachael understands the land development process and can anticipate challenges before they arise to ensure a seamless journey from conception to completion of the project. She has a reputation in the development community for fairness, practicality and efficiency. Rachael's experience includes providing detailed management studies, feasibility studies, project management, appraisal and acquisition, construction and both public and private consultation. In addition to project management, given her background in local governments, Rachael also provide the management services of Turner Lane to municipalities for planning and subdivision work in either a short or long term capacity.
ANDREW J. MARSH, AScT - Senior Project Coordinator
Andrew fulfills an important role as field supervisor which includes the jobs of coordinating and monitoring the overall progress of multiple projects and personnel in a master planned community. As the Senior Project Coordinator, Andrew has a proven ability to function with attention to detail from an engineering perspective in a fast paced and deadline oriented atmosphere, delivering projects on time and within budget. Working directly with the corporation, the construction management firm, the municipality and all utility and service providers, Andrew is an important leader in the development operations of Turner Lane. Andrew has 15 years experience as a Structural Engineering Technologist. He is responsible for coordinating many aspects of the structural design components and field review of residential, commercial and industrial buildings as well as bridges, retaining and pier structures. With extensive experience in structural drafting and design, Andrew's track record of on-site problems solving to the mutual satisfaction of the engineer, builder and owner has earned him the respect of contractors and project managers throughout the Greater Victoria area.
ROB JOHNSTON, CTech - Project Manager
Rob brings 30 years of design and management experience in the engineering and development industry to Turner Lane. In his role as Project Manager, Rob is responsible for all civic works for our projects. His duties revolve around preparing and reviewing preliminary design and concept drawings and site plans, preparing construction budgets, coordinating and liaising with consultants and contractors, and reviewing and approving contracts and quotes to maintain cost control. He has created great working relations with municipalities, utility companies, contractors and other consulting companies to facilitate good communication such that all projects are completed without delays. Rob also has experience in on-site construction that helps to solve any contractor or engineering issues before they become costly problems. Rob's ability to review projects at a conceptual stage and apply his working knowledge to create cost effective solutions at the beginning of any project is of great value to our clients.
DANA ELIZABETH - Legal Assistant
Dana brings 15 years of experience as a Legal Assistant and has focused her expertise in Real Estate and Corporate conveyance, Municipal Law, Development Law and Foreclosure. Her training includes the Legal Assistant's Program at Malaspina College and an Entrepreneurial Course at the Kiwanis Enterprise Centre. Dana is responsible for the preparation and registration of documentation necessary to facilitate subdivision, servicing and financing for Turner Lane projects. She provides administrative assistance to the CEO and President and liaises with various law firms on pertinent legal matters. Dana also provides in-house graphic design and web development/support and works with consultants in developing marketing materials and corporate websites.

PATRICIA CAMERON - Executive Assistant and Officer Manager
Patricia (Trish) as Executive Assistant reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and fulfills a dynamic and multi function role within the Turner Lane group of companies. She has the primary responsibility of managing the day to day operations within the office and matters pertaining to human resource management. Trish also manages the seminars, meetings, travel arrangements and scheduling requirements of the management staff, and acts as liaison between the divisions of the corporate group. Trish has 27 years experience as a Land Title Registry Agent which affords her a thorough knowledge of land, business, mobile, archives and court registry filings. She brings a wealth of office administration experience, document management and archiving, and organizational skills to the office environment with her accomplished and energetic interpersonal abilities.
ELISA LINUZZI - Certified General Accountant
Elisa graduated from the University of Victoria in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and is a Certified General Accountant. Her career spans 21 years in accounting and auditing for industry and with public accounting firms, and auditing for both the Provincial and Federal governments. Elisa has served in various executive committee and board member positions for numerous not-for-profit societies, sports organizations and independent schools and has been an active volunteer for many years. She is experienced at managing multiple concurrent projects, each with diverse stakeholders, and in synthesizing various components of the accounting, treasury, strategic planning and financing functions into useful, understandable data. Elisa oversees financial controls and transactions, liaises with other participants in the corporate group to offer the timely exchange of accounting and financial information, and complies with CRA and CICA Handbook requirements to ensure the accurate and detailed reporting of all corporate statements and tax returns. Elisa also provides guidance in strategic goal setting, budgeting and financial planning to track the company's progress and to set the standards for continued fiscal success.
Tammy is known for her accuracy and high level of attention to detail in the accounting department. She is bonded and has years of experience in cash control and cash management and logistics from her 17 years as a member of the accounting staff for a large vending machine and food services company. Tammy has a terrific sense of humor and is sensitive to the needs of our customers, suppliers, staff and financial institutions when dealing with payments, payroll, collections, and other banking transactions. As one of the developers of our data management system, Tammy is proficient with the operations and maintenance of the program and processes great volumes of data quickly and accurately. She has been involved in the implementation of various financial and record-keeping data projects, including network management and database creation, and continues to enhance the efficiency of our current system. Tammy is responsible for processing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and managing the banking requirements for the group of companies.
COLLEEN ROBERTSON - Accounting
Colleen has been a visible and vocal member of the West Shore community, holding elected municipal official positions of councillor and mayor, as well as being involved in high-profile rezoning and development activities. Colleen's role at Turner Lane involves interfacing between the audit and accounting functions of the daily operations in the accounting department. With her broad knowledge of land development processes, Colleen understands the importance of reconciling and managing the bookkeeping, tax and accounting reporting functions to ensure the meaningful reporting of data. As such, she is responsible for the monthly filings of tax and payroll reporting, monthly bank reconciliations, monthly property management functions, and year-end reporting requirements. With 32 years of experience in bookkeeping, property management, payroll and human resource management, she is able to apply this knowledge obtained to benefit our fast-paced, high-volume department. As part of the data management system development team, she liaises with our I/T specialists to maintain our database and accounting software to ensure the secured archiving of accurate and complete bookkeeping records.
